This etrier is designed for rescues and is manufactured by Headwall Harnesses. It is used in the “Cutaway Rescue” taught by Adventure Experiences. It is made of 1 inch, bright orange webbing which is lightweight and high strength. In the Cutaway Rescue system, the etrier is used as a rope ladder to aid in the rescue procedure. It allows for multiple ladder loops to accomodate different rescue situations.
